More Fun Facts About Me...
~ Matthew and I were married at Walt Disney World in 2015 at Disney's Wedding Pavilion
~ We are slightly Disney obsessed and travel there at least once, sometimes twice a year.
~ Both of our children have Disney inspired names Ella Katherine and Aiden Ryder.
~ I binge watch Hallmark Movies whenever I have a chance, it's my guilty pleasure.
~My biggest weakness is a McDonald's Coke. And, you might be surprised to know coffee is my arch nemesis.
~ We are based in Indianapolis but we love to travel. I am currently dreaming of my next overseas trip.
~ Cinderella Blue might just be the best color ever, especially when paired with rose gold .
~ Matthew and I are both certified scuba divers. We have dove in Hawaii, St. Lucia, and The Living Seas Aquarium at Epcot.
~ I own multiple pairs of the Kate Spade Keds Sequin line, and yes one of the pairs are rose gold.
The portrait Experience
My Philosophy | I'm sure your mind is racing with all that goes into planning a portrait session. It's all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. Whether you are celebrating a new bundle of joy, annual family portraits, anniversaries, or other milestones throughout your lives, I would be honored to capture your memories. My goal as a portrait photographer is to make your portrait session a carefree, fun filled experience that you will enjoy and also brings out the best in you!
Photography is more than just images, it's how we freeze all those little moments to look back on as the years pass. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my clients feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, and joyful images! When I think back to all the portraits we have had done, I remember amazing memories... but most of the moments I remember really well are the instances that were captured in my pictures. They are priceless to me. Our photographer always makes us feel so incredibly comfortable. Your portrait experience is an experience from beginning to end and your photographer is a huge part of that experience.... shouldn't it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it's to create an experience that they will never forget.

One way I ensure my clients enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with my clients. I try my best to make sure that all my clients are the PERFECT fit for me before officially booking. All clients should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them!
After booking, I love getting to know my clients through a questionnaire. By the time the session day arrives, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography!

We're here as a resource beyond photography—whether you're looking for engagement session outfit recommendations, timeline advice, or vendor referrals.
Even if you're working with a wedding planner or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. We've photographed more than 100 weddings in the past few years and we're happy to share everything we've learned along the way!
Engagement Session
We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you.
Engagement sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. We’ve found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos. We normally plan sessions based on a particular “look” a couple has in mind, spring flowers for example, or based on schedules.
Wedding Day Prep
We check-in about two months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.
While we normally don't send this questionnaire until closer to the wedding, please don't hesitate to let us know if you have questions during the planning process!
The Big Day
It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends. Sit back, relax, and soak it all in! I will be there to capture all of your memories and make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible.
Just know we're excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.
Photo Delivery
You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within six to eight weeks of your wedding. So get ready to snuggle up with your significant other and a glass of wine and enjoy reliving your wedding day all over again!
We hope the relationship doesn't end after we deliver your photographs. We want to hear about the adventures of married life. And if you decide to have kids, we'd love to document your growing family.

What to wear
Be yourself - start with your own personal style. Think about the clothing style you currently have and the stores you normally shop. Wearing clothes that you love and that look great on you will ensure meaningful photographs that are true reflections of who you are as individuals.
Location, location, location. Consider the setting of where your shoot will take place. Will it be at the beach, the park, your home, in the city, or somewhere else? Imagine your setting and the types of colors that will be there. Since the setting will end up being the background of your photos, it has a big impact on your overall look.
Color - consider wearing soft colors such as pastels or neutrals to bring out those soft light and airy tones to get that timeless, dreamy, and elegant look to your images.

I'm Ready to Book!
How do we plan our portrait session?
We love planning the perfect portrait session for our clients. First we will start out with a pre consultation. Check out Pinterest for inspiration on location, poses, props, and general styling. Start thinking about your style and what you're looking for in your session. Thing about settings and clothes that will show off who you are as a person, couple, or family.
How many photos are typically included and can we print the photos ourselves?
We love delivering our client's files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share, and download, your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes! Portrait galleries are delivered within 4-6 weeks of your session date.
Will you travel for portrait sessions?
We are more than willing to travel for portrait sessions! We actually love it when our clients ask us to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I generally like to stick to a location that has a lot of variety or two locations that are close in distance.
what is your shooting style?
We love being both interactive and discreet throughout the portrait session. We teach our clients how to pose, model, and interact during their portrait session, so they are naturals in front of the camera. Portrait sessions will last anywhere from 30-90 minutes.
We love your work and we're ready to book!
What's the next step?
Fantastic! To reserve your portrait session, we'll need a completed contract and a 50% non refundable retainer. Once you're ready to book I will send over a detailed booking proposal that will walk you through your package details and when you're ready you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your retainer online.
When will I receive my Gallery?
After carefully hand selecting your images your high resolution digital gallery will be sent to your inbox approximately 4-6 weeks after your session. Along the way we will share sneak peeks on our social media platforms.
