Here at Maria McKenzie Photography we believe in a great photographic experience and part of that experience is getting to know our portrait clients! After you inquire, I will send over an investment guide which will walk you through our Wedding Experience Photography Collections as well as more info on our photoshoot philosophy and booking process.
Then we will set up a coffee date either in person or over the phone so that we can get to know you as a couple and hear all about the plans you have for your wedding day to get an idea on how we can serve you best!

Yay! We're the perfect fit! Now let's make sure we make your date official! I will email you a booking proposal where you can review your package and pay your 50% retainer. Once that is paid and signed, you are officially an MMP Bride!
Now the real fun begins, you will receive our bridal magazine full of helpful tips and planning information to get the most our of your wedding experience with us!
It's time to book your engagement session! Engagement sessions are my favorite! Better yet they are complimentary for all of our couples. It's another way for us to get to know one another in a stress free environment and spend time together before your wedding day. By the time your wedding day is here the two of you will be pros and you will know exactly what some of my favorite cue words are like "Nuzzle or forehead to forehead."

Engagement Session
About 6 weeks out from your wedding we will have a phone consultation to see how your wedding plans are coming along, talk wedding day logistics, and create the perfect timeline for your wedding day to ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible. We pride ourselves on creating a timeline that allows you to enjoy your day without feeling rushed or stressed, all while capturing timeless photographs for you.

I will be there to capture all of the fairytale memories and make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible. THERE WILL BE PARTS OF THE SESSION WHEN I WILL NEED TO BE IN CONTROL IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, THERE WILL ALSO BE MOMENTS WHEN YOU SHOULDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT I'M THERE. WE TEACH OUR CLIENTS HOW TO POSE, MODEL AND INTERACT DURING THEIR SESSION SO THEY ARE NATURALS IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA.
Is 10 hours enough wedding coverage?
YES! WE ARE OFTEN ASKED IF 10 HOURS IS ENOUGH TIME TO CAPTURE THE FULL WEDDING STORY AND THE ANSWER IS YES! OUR MAIN GOAL RIGHT NOW IS SECURING AND SAVING YOUR DATE. YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD ADDITIONAL COVERAGE AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE BIG DAY AND WE HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF YOUR TIMELINE.
How Long Will It Take To Receive My Images?
TURNAROUND TIME FOR ENGAGEMENT PORTRAITS IT IS USUALLY 4-6 WEEKS AND 6-8 WEEKS FOR WEDDINGS. WE TAKE OUR TIME WITH EACH INDIVIDUAL PHOTO. THIS PROCESS CAN VARY DEPENDING ON SEASON AND HOW BUSY WE ARE AT THE TIME. WE WILL DO OUR VERY BEST TO GET YOUR PHOTOS TO YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
